The agency was started in 1951 by A. J. Frampton & G.W. Huntley and know as the Frampton and Huntley Insurance Agency. In 1960 there was a name change and it became The Frampton Insurance Agency. In 1980 the Jim Frampton Insurance Agency joined forces with The Frampton Insurance Agency and in 1998 the Metropolitan  Insurance Services was purchased.
